Chiarimenti

1 In regards to the signature of documents: Do you also accept digital signatures (QES) or only manual signatures on the submission documents?

As for the the possibility of digitally signing the tender documentation we confirm that a digital OEM signature is admitted (although not compulsory) on the documents as long as it is the signature of the legal representative. In addition please make sure to attach to the administrative dossier a scan copy of the ID of the signatory. The invitation letter mentions the possibility to disregard the necessity to digitally sign the document (paragraph 6) as the tender is addressed to selected international companies that might to possess an OEM digital signature.

2 Question 1: Point 2 of the Technical Specifications document requests the base unit "Vehicle compliant to necessary requirement for import and registration in the State of Israel. The vehicle shall have a minimum emissions rating Euro 2. A vehicle with a higher rating is permitted" Can you please confirm if Euro 4 is acceptable? Question 2: Point 51 asks for the additional fuel tank, What fuel tank capacity is required? The OEM vehicle comes with a dual fuel tank 80L+30L =110L

Answer 1: While being a diplomatic mission provides some degree of flexibility with regard to importation and licensing of a civilian armoured vehicle, it is the supplier’s sole responsibility to make sure that the vehicle supplied is compliant with the necessary requirements for import and registration in the State of Israel. When it comes to emission, at the date of publishing the tender, Euro 2 is deemed to be a minimum required nonetheless a higher rating such as Euro 4 is accepted. Answer 2: As mentioned in point 51 the additional tank is considered an optional. A minimum TOTAL capacity of the tank/s of 90L would be necessary. 80L+30L is therefore accepted.
